KEMP, Texas — Two people were critically injured and airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital following an RV fire near Kemp overnight.

KEMP, Texas — Two people were critically injured and airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital following an RV fire near Kemp overnight.

The fire occurred on Lakeshore Drive which is located south of Kemp, Texas, near the Cedar Creek Reservoir.

The husband and wife sustained fire-related injuries and were both flown to Parkland Memorial Hospital. The couple's dog did not survive the fire.

The Kaufman County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
