TERRELL, Texas — On Monday morning, Taco Cabana officially opened the doors to its latest location in Terrell, Texas, and have scheduled a "Grand Opening Fiesta" for May 18.
The 2,659-square foot restaurant, located at 1241 Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 in the Terrell Market Center, is the latest business development in Kaufman County's fastest growing commercial center initially spurred by development of Buc-ee's and continued with the latest announcement of a movie-entertainment megaplex, the 74,000-square foot Film Alley Movie Entertainment Center.
The restaurant will feature 32 seats in the dining room and 24 seats on an outdoor patio, perfect, according to a press release announcing the opening, for "enjoying savory, hand-made dishes and salsas, delicious seasonal margaritas, draft beer, and TC’s refreshing new sangria."
Operating hours are 24 hours a day, on Friday through Sunday and 6 a.m. until 1 a.m. on Monday through Thursday.
“We have immense respect for Terrell’s rich history and progressive growth, and we can’t wait to show its locals what Taco Cabana is all about,” said Chuck Locke, President of Taco Cabana. “We invite the community to explore a variety of Latin-inspired flavors with us this year, starting with the launch of our new premium steak on May 14th.”
Taco Cabana will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. and the "Grand Opening Fiesta" on Friday, May 18, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The grand opening will feature food and drink specials, games, live entertainment, prize drawings, and more.
The restaurant will also have live music every Thursday night from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. until May 31.
Taco Cabana joins Chipotle, Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, Buc-ee’s, Dairy Queen, Panda Express, Taco Bueno, Starbucks, Whataburger, and Discount Tire, at the intersection of FM 148, Spur 557, and Interstate 20.
