KAUFMAN, Texas — A 32-year-old man is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on $575,000 in bonds on multiple aggravated child sex assault charges, according to county records.
An arrest warrant affidavit, obtained by inForney.com, details the graphic charges against Eric Thomas Campbell which allegedly involved a female child between the ages of 10 and 11 years old.
Campbell was arrested last week and charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact. Bonds on all five charges total $575,000.
Campbell's criminal history in Kaufman County dates back to 2005 with charges for theft, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and an animal seizure case. He was evicted in August 2017 from his Kaufman-area residence and shows a recent address in Whitney, Texas, according to county records and the arrest affidavit, respectively.
