KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A Kaufman County Sheriff's Office narcotic search warrant execution on Monday yielded four arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, heroin, Xanax, and prescription lidocaine patches.

According to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, investigators received citizen complaints of suspicious activity at a residence in the 10000 block of County Road 124 near the Blackjack community in eastern Kaufman County. Those complaints led to an investigation and subsequent issuance of a search warrant.

On Monday, August 19, 2019, at 8:40 a.m., the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office's SWAT Team and Narcotics Investigators executed the search warrant at the residence — arresting four and seizing suspected methamphetamine, heroin, Xanax, and prescription lidocaine patches. Additionally, investigators seized cell phones and computer hard drives.

Arrested were 29-year-old Lisa Martin, 26-year-old Matthew Sullivan, 33-year-old Rodney Sheffield, and 36-year-old Jodie Harris, all of Kaufman, Texas.

Martin was charged with manufacture of delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams on a $100,000 bond, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 less than four grams on a $50,000 bond, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 greater than 28 grams on a $1,500 bond and tamper of fabricate physical evidence on a $15,000 bond.

Sullivan was charged with manufacture of delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams and is being held on a $200,000 bond. Sheffield was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 less than four grams and is being held on a $6,000 bond, and Harris was charged with possession of a dangerous drug and was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
