MESQUITE, Texas — A Mesquite resident claimed a top-prize winning ticket in the Texas Lottery's $5 Million Fortune scratch game — claiming a $5 million prize.

The claimant, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at Kroger 509, located at 4901 Maple Avenue in Dallas.

This was the third of four top prizes worth $5 million to be claimed in the $5 Million Fortune scratch game, according to the Texas Lottery.

"$5 Million Fortune offers more than $225 million in total prizes," stated the Texas Lottery. "Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.53, including break-even prizes."
