FORNEY, Texas — Every Thursday night in June, downtown Forney will be the place to enjoy dinner, live music and more with the premiere of a summer music series that debuts tonight.
Eno’s Pizza Tavern and inForney.com have partnered together to bring local musical talent to the Eno’s Stage every Thursday night in June starting at 7PM. Music is appropriate for the entire family; and drink and dinner specials will also be available.
The series premieres with Ronda Ray, a seasoned singer and songwriter who is known for her country and rock sound. Ronda’s music can best be described as “Lucinda Williams meets The Rolling Stones – real and raw” according to her website.
Next Tuesday, June 13, Terrell native Reece Norris will perform. Norris is currently a nominee for the Young Artist of the Year Award by the Texas Country Music Association and was previously a finalist at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo earlier this year. Norris is also a junior at Terrell High School.
On June 20, Owen Tiner will perform. Tiner is notorious throughout East Texas for his skills on the guitar and his gritty sound.
The summer music series wraps up on June 27 with local favorite Matt Fisher. An accomplished musician an artist, audiences are consistently blown away by Fisher and his sultry voice. He attracts a crowd no matter whether he’s playing classic rock or classic country.
Eno’s Pizza Tavern is located at 215 South Bois D Arc Street. For more information call 469-720-0400.
