FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is offering to accept the delivery of holiday packages from now until December 22, 2019 — in an effort to curb porch pirates from stealing packages left by carriers on recipient's front porches.

"Holiday Spirit is in the air, don’t let the Grinch ruin your holidays," stated the department on Facebook. "The Forney Police Department is happy to offer a safe site for package delivery!"
