TALTY, Texas — UPDATE — The body of a missing boy was found in a pond not far from his home early Monday morning after an exhaustive search that included over 20 area law enforcement agencies and fire departments, and hundreds of area residents who volunteered in the search.

ORIGINAL — A search is currently underway for a missing 6-year-old child with autism.
According to Kaufman County Sheriffs Office, the child is non verbal, his name is Dalton Robison, and he is about 3’ and 48 pounds. His hair is shorter than shown in the above picture.
He was last seen wearing a pull-up diaper and possibly black rubber boots between 3:30 and 4 p.m. by his parents, who believe the child walked out of the house near the area of Cottonwood Lane.
KCSO received 911 call at 5:51 p.m. A search is underway via air and ground with the assistance of several local fire departments, DPS, and Game Wardens.
Area community members have also responded to the area en masse to assist in the search. Law enforcement say those wishing to aid in the search efforts must sign in at the staging area at the end of Kaufman County Road 272. Neighbors say law enforcement is asking them to search sheds, garages, out houses, and bodies of water.
