TERRELL, Texas — During their regular meeting May 7, Terrell City Council members voted unanimously to appoint Mayrani Velazquez to the recently vacated District 3 City Council seat.
“It’s my pleasure as a Council member to have Mayrani Velazquez as the newly appointed Council member for District 3,” said fellow Council member Grady Simpson. “Her experience as a leader and community advocate will serve her well as a Council person.”
