TALTY, Texas — A 24-year-old Talty man who was arrested in March on 10 counts of various child sex and pornographic charges now faces an additional six counts of child-sex related charges.

The charges stem from 24-year-old Taylor Blake Craft's use of Snapchat to solicit nude photographs and videos from underage female victims and then using that material to threaten his victims into sexual encounters.

Craft had previously been arrested on Kaufman County charges for soliciting a minor, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of publishing or threatening to publish intimate visual material, and one count of possession with intent to distribute child pornography.

Since his arrest in March, and an article detailing the charges against Craft in April, Craft faces six additional charges and a total bond of $2,675,000. The new charges include sexual assault of a child and online solicitation of a minor in Kaufman County, two counts of sexual assault of a child in Dallas County, and online solicitation of a minor by sexual conduct and sexual performance by a child younger than 14 years of age in Rockwall County.

The investigation into Craft's Snapchat behavior began after a minor in Connecticut told police that a Snapchat user, later identified as Craft, had solicited nude photographs. Investigators in Connecticut forwarded the results of their search warrant to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office's Crime Against Persons Division. Craft was later interviewed, his cell phone seized and forensically examined, and arrested on the charges.

Craft had allegedly, in some instances, posed as a young female on Snapchat to initiate contact with some of his victims and build trust. Craft would then request nude or partially clothed photographs or would ask the victims to go on a date with their "best friend," who the fraudulent user would identify as Craft.
