KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A woman was arrested early Monday morning after police received a tip she may have narcotics in her vehicle, according to Precinct 2 Constable Jason Johnson.
Johnson says Corporal Frias was able to locate the vehicle overnight and stopped the vehicle on a traffic violation.
Through further investigation, Johnson says police discovered 120.3 grams of THC, two pills of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, also known as Ecstasy or XTC, .4 grams of hydrocodone, and 3.6 grams of marijuana.
Arrested was 27-year-old Sasha Ciara Fort on two counts of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 less than one gram on $5,000 bonds each, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 greater than or equal to four grams and less than 400 grams on a $75,000 bond, and possession of marijuana less than two ounces on a $1,500 bond. She was booked into the Kaufman County Jail at 1:07 a.m. Monday.
"This was an outstanding job well done by Terrell PD, Forney PD, KSO, and Pct 2 for getting this off the streets," stated Johnson.
