Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) is thrilled to announce the re-dedication of the newly renovated Fine Arts Building on its Athens Campus. The celebration will take place on Friday, February 28, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the entire community is invited to join in this momentous occasion.

This re-dedication represents the culmination of nearly $1 million invested in updates and renovations, highlighting TVCC’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities for its students, faculty, and academic programs.

The renovation plans were initially unveiled during a live broadcast on the TVCC Facebook page in July 2024. TVCC President Dr. Jason Morrison emphasized the significance of the project for the college community.

“We are focusing on how we present ourselves to the educational world,” Dr. Morrison stated. “We are proud to enhance the experience across all our campuses!”

Dr. Kristin Huggins, Chair of the Fine Arts and Kinesiology Division, expressed her enthusiasm for the transformed facility.

“With these renovations, we now have an updated, modern space that reflects our students' passion and commitment to the arts,” Dr. Huggins remarked. “This investment sends a strong message that their pursuit of excellence in the performing arts is valued and supported.”

The renovations feature comprehensive repairs, remodeling, and fresh paint, resulting in a revitalized environment designed to nurture creativity and foster academic excellence.

Join us on February 28 to explore the updated facilities, meet the dedicated faculty and students, and celebrate the enduring legacy of the Fine Arts program at TVCC.
