FORNEY, Texas – UDPATE — Weather permitting, all lanes of westbound US 80 will be closed at FM 460 from 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, and then all lanes of eastbound US 80 at FM 460 will be closed from 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 as part of the ongoing construction project near Forney.

Traffic will be detoured onto the frontage road during the closures. Please follow the signed detours and plan extra time.

This work is part of the ongoing $129 million construction project awarded to Webber, LLC. The project is anticipated for overall completion in spring 2026, weather permitting.
