FORNEY, Texas – A cold front is expected to hit Forney and Kaufman County between the hours of 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. and with it will come strong winds. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth, Texas, has issued a Wind Advisory for most of North Texas overnight.

FORNEY, Texas – Texas Department of Transportation crews returned to eastbound U.S. Highway 80 near Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 today to continue bridge guardrail repairs. The left lane of traffic will be closed in the area during the repairs.
