The North Forney Falcons had an overall season record of 2-6 going into a tough game against District 10-4A's 2nd ranked team Mesquite Poteet, now 8-1, on Friday night, November 2, 2012. Both teams used the first 10 minutes of the game to feel each other out.

Mesquite Poteet's QB, Tanner Ramsey, connected with Nathaniel Gaines with 1:37 left in the first quarter to put the first 7 points on the scoreboard. The North Forney Falcon's Armani Watts answered on the kickoff return by returning the ball 85 yards to set-up D'Andre Randall 5-yard rushing touchdown.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, the Pirates racked up an additional 52 unanswered points in the remainder of the game. The Pirates put 17 points up in the 2nd quarter, 21 in the 3rd quarter, and 14 points in the 4th quarter.

The North Forney Falcon's (2-7) last game of the season will be played at home against the Carrollton Creekview Mustangs (4-5) at Forney's City Bank Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
