KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is offering a $5,000 reward for information in a tool and equipment theft investigation at a Kaufman ranch.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is offering a $5,000 reward for information in a tool and equipment theft investigation at a Kaufman ranch.
The $5,000 reward, announced on September 11, is being offered for information leading to an arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the theft of tools and equipment from the JB Ranch, formerly the Star Brand Ranch executive retreat, which is located south of U.S. Highway 175 just west of Kaufman, Texas.
The theft occurred on or around May 27, 2019, according to the association, and several items were stolen from the barn and shop. Those items include, among others, a Welder Infra Bronco 225 10K Gen Kohler welder, a DeWalt power washer, a DeWalt cordless drill, an Echo chainsaw, leaf blower, and weed eater, an electric grinder, a welding hood and welding tools, a trailer license plate, Husky sockets and wrenches, and other assorted tools.
