A white 2008 Ford F250 was broken into on Saturday morning, September 8, 2012, between 11 a.m. and 12:15 a.m. The truck was parked just off of FM 741 at Mulberry Park, the owners were watching their son play baseball at the time.

The thieves tore the dash off and stole a brand new Kenwood touch screen stereo system. The Forney Police Department was called to the scene and are investigating the theft. Given the proximity to FM 741 and the time of day, authorities are asking for anyone that may have noticed anything suspicious to call the Forney Police Department at (972) 564-7600 or Kaufman County Crime Stoppers at 1 (877) 847-7522.
The Forney Youth Baseball Association encourages anyone attending games at Mulberry Park to place valuables out of site and/or place valuables in your trunk and make sure you lock your doors.
