TERRELL, Texas — A female victim who interrupted a carjacking in Terrell was shot multiple times with a BB gun, according to police.
Witnesses tell inForney.com the female victim had just left work at Applebee’s when she observed two black males attempting to steal her vehicle.
The victim confronted the individuals who in turn shot her multiple times with a BB gun, Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom told inForney.com.
Sansom says the two carjackers were able to steal the female victim’s keys and fled the scene in her vehicle.
Police are now searching for the victim’s vehicle which is described as a tan 2008 Honda Civic with hail damage on the roof and a Dr. Who license plate holder. The vehicle is bearing Texas license plat No. JYL2149.
The victim, who's age is unknown, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene by CareFlite and is not expected to be transported to an area hospital.
Both suspects were described as black males, one possibly around the age of 25.
