FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is seeking information in a cold case from Christmas Day in 2012.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on Christmas day, 2012, three classic mustangs were destroyed in an arson fire at the Mustang Shop on Industrial Drive including a 1986 5.0 Mustang, 1997 Mustang GT, and a 1969 Mach I Mustang. Several other vehicles in the shop’s parking lot were destroyed by the arsonist who smashed their windows with a pallet.
In a matter of 25 minutes, three vehicles were completely destroyed by the fire, three other vehicles sustained some fire damage, and ten windows were smashed by the arsonist.
