Court coordinator, husband charged with furnishing alcohol to minors before prom

KAUFMAN, Texas — A Kaufman County court coordinator and her husband turned themselves in Monday, April 20, 2015, on warrants for purchasing or furnishing alcohol to minors before prom last month.

KAUFMAN, Texas — A Kaufman County court coordinator and her husband turned themselves in Monday, April 20, 2015, on warrants for purchasing or furnishing alcohol to minors before prom last month.

According to court records, 44-year-old Kelley Blaine, the court coordinator for Kaufman County’s 86th District Court, and her husband, 46-year-old Anthony Blaine, were each charged with 18 counts of purchasing or furnishing alcohol to a minor on March 21, 2015. The charge is a class A misdemeanor.

An arrest warrant for the two was issued on April 17, 2015, and both turned themselves in on Monday, April 20, 2015, just before noon. Jail records indicate both posted bond and were released less than an hour later.

Kelley has been placed on investigative suspension according to a court representative. The suspension will become effective this week.
