CRANDALL, Texas — A threat discovered at Crandall High School has been "isolated" as district police and officials continue to more thoroughly investigate, according to a statement from the district on Thursday night.
A threat, directed at a date next week, was discovered at Crandall High School earlier today.
"The threat has been isolated and the staff will continue to investigate the situation more thoroughly at school," stated the district. "CISD will have additional officers on campus in the next few days as a precautionary measure."
"Campus staff and administrators will be on high alert of any unusual activity," continued the district's statement. "Disciplinary measures will be taken for those who were involved."
The Crandall ISD Police Department has been investigating the threat since its discovery, according to the district.
"The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority," stated the district. "We will continue to update you as information becomes available."
