CRANDALL, Texas — Crandall police officers nabbed a delivery driver after he was reportedly acting erratic at an area gas station, wrecked, and fled on foot.
Crandall Police Department Chief Billy Kilgore says a Borden’s delivery driver was reportedly acting erratic at the Exxon gas station on the U.S. Highway 175 frontage road around 4 p.m.
As officers were responding, the man sped away from the gas station and onto East Trunk Street where he wrecked the delivery truck and fled on foot.
Officers located the man underneath bleachers at the old Cotton Gin restaurant.
Kilgore says the man faces charges for criminal mischief and evading arrest on foot.
