CRANDALL, Texas β The Crandall Police Department is seeking any information or assistance identifying two suspects who allegedly robbed a Crandall gas station at gun and knifepoint early Tuesday morning.
Crandall Police Department Chief Billy Kilgore says about 12:27 a.m., two unidentified black males entered the Shell convenience store at 101 North Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 and robbed the store and the clerk at gun and knifepoint.
One of the suspects approached the clerk, displayed a handgun, and demanded the money from the register. The other suspect began loading a bag with various types of tobacco products and then demanded the clerks wallet at knifepoint.
The suspects fled the scene on foot and police believe later fled from a vehicle which may have been parked several businesses west of the Shell station and fled westbound.
Police describe the first suspect as being approximately 6-foot, 3-inches tall and wore a red sweat- or wind-type pants with a white stripe down the side, a black hoodie with an unknown emblem on the left chest area, and covered his face with a mask or bandanna.
The second suspect is described as being approximately 5-foot, 6-inches tall and wore a grey hoodie sweatshirt with a n unknown emblem on the front, with black pants, and was carrying what appeared to be a back pack.
Kilgore says the department is also in the process of obtaining additional surveillance video to provide the public with a better photo.
