MESQUITE, Texas — The North Texas Crime Stoppers organization is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in a Saturday night homicide in Mesquite, Texas.
MESQUITE, Texas — The North Texas Crime Stoppers organization is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in a Saturday night homicide in Mesquite, Texas.
“On Saturday, April 11, 2015, at approximately 10:17 p.m., the Mesquite Police Department responded to a shooting at a residence in the 2100 block of Catskill Drive,” stated Mesquite Police Department Public Information Officer Lieutenant Brian Parrish.
An initial investigation into the shooting revealed a fight broke out during a large party at the residence which led to gunfire and 18-year-old Charles Elliott of Mesquite, Texas, being shot in the head. Elliott was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where he was pronounced deceased Sunday morning at approximately 11:25 a.m.
“Investigators are asking anyone who was in attendance at this party or has any information about this crime to please contact the Mesquite Police Department,” stated Parrish.
