TERRELL, Texas —The Terrell Police Department is investigating an early Monday morning armed robbery of Whataburger on Farm-to-Market (FM) 148.
Just after 5 a.m., two armed men walked into the Whataburger, both displayed handguns, and ordered the customers to the ground, Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom told inForney.com.
The suspects then ordered an employee to the register where they stole cash and a manager to the back office where more cash was stolen.
The two suspects fled the restaurant, possibly in a light grey or smokey blue-colored four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima. They were last seen traveling north on FM 148 and westbound on Spur 557.
The suspects were described as a black male and possibly a Hispanic male. Both suspects wore joggers, hoodies, and covered their faces with bandannas.
Sansom says no injuries were reported during the robbery.
