One Monday morning, May 23, 2016, police responded to a single-vehicle crash on westbound U.S. Highway 80 for a vehicle that had reportedly spun out on the highway west of Pinson Road.
39-year-old Kelly Dianne Tembe was arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams. Tempe is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
Police seized 4.9 grams of methamphetamine during the arrest, according to an incident report obtained by inForney.com.
In June 2014, Tembe pled guilty to two separate charges of possession of methamphetamine in Dallas County, according to Dallas County court records, for which she was given three years deferred adjudication probation.
