ATHENS, Texas — Family, friends, and crime stoppers are offering a combined reward of $15,000 for information leading to an arrest in a 32-year-old cold case murder in Athens, Texas.

ATHENS, Texas — Family, friends, and crime stoppers are offering a combined reward of $15,000 for information leading to an arrest in a 32-year-old cold case murder in Athens, Texas.

On the 7th or 8th of March 1987, police discovered the body of Rickey Herriage near a bridge on County Road 1500, also known as Old Malakoff Highway. He had been shot multiple times.

Family and friends are offering a $10,000 reward and the Henderson County Crime Stoppers are offering a $5,000 reward for information in the case leading to an arrest.

The case had previously been featured on NBC Dateline and Project: Cold Case.
