ROCKWALL, Texas — The Rockwall County Sheriff's Office is requesting help from the public identifying two vehicles in connection with two residential burglaries near the Kaufman County line.

ROCKWALL, Texas — The Rockwall County Sheriff's Office is requesting help from the public identifying two vehicles in connection with two residential burglaries near the Kaufman County line.

The burglaries occurred at residents on South Smith Road and Stevens Road, according to the sheriff's office.

In both cases, the suspects kicked in a door at the residences during broad daylight and were later captured on nearby video surveillance fleeing by vehicle into the Kaufman County and Forney areas towards University Drive.

Firearms, identifying documents, hunting equipment, and power tools were stolen from the residences and detached metal structures.

The two vehicles sought by investigators are described as a white or silver/gray Chevrolet Sonic or Chevrolet Spark and the second vehicle appears to be a black Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4. Year models are unknown at this time.
