FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department and Forney Municipal Court cleared nearly 100 warrants and nearly $20,000 in fines, bonds, and fees during the 2015 Great Texas Warrant Roundup.
In total, 97 warrants were cleared between February 21, 2015, and March 15, 2015, according to a municipal court report. The municipal court also collected $19,585.15 in costs, fees, fines, and bonds.
During the roundup, Forney Police Department officers went door-to-door serving outstanding warrants including warrants for delinquent traffic citations, delinquent parking citations, and other misdemeanor Class C citations.
14 warrants were cleared on March 4, 2015, and 13 warrants were each cleared on February 26, 2015, and March 3, 2015.
The Forney Police Department and Forney Municipal Court participated in the 2014 Great Texas Warrant Roundup and cleared 127 warrants and collected $26,668.90.
