FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is investigating an overnight burglary at CYA Guns and Ammo, the second burglary in as many months for the gun store.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is investigating an overnight burglary at CYA Guns and Ammo, the second burglary in as many months for the gun store.
The burglars drove a pickup truck through the front of the store to gain entry, according to police.
Police were notified of the burglar after a nearby business employee reported damage to the front of the store on Sunday morning.
Several firearms were reported stolen, however information on how many and what types of firearms were stolen was not immediately available.
The truck used during the burglary is reportedly stolen out of Irving, Texas.
CYA Guns and Ammo was also burglarized on April 18, 2017, with several firearms reportedly stolen. In December 2106, an attempted burglary was reported at Gotta Have Guns, just across the highway from CYA.
