FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is seeking three suspects in an armed robbery of the CEFCO gas station, formerly Food Fast under the Valero name, on Pinson Road.
At 12:26 a.m., the Forney Police Department received a 911 call of an armed robbery at the gas station.
"Three males entered the store with guns and demanded money from the employee on duty," stated Forney Police Department Detective Michael Clay in a Wednesday afternoon press release.
"The males were described as being three black males wearing hoodies," stated Clay. "The first male suspect was wearing a bright red hoodie with dark pants and something black covering his face. The second male suspect was wearing a red zip up “NIKE” hoodie tightly closed around his face. The third male suspect was wearing all black clothing."
"It is believed these suspects may be involved with other similar incidents in nearby cities," he said.
The three suspects reportedly stole cigarettes, cash, and the female cashier’s cell phone, according to a be-on-the-lookout notification sent to area law enforcement agencies.
The same gas station was targeted less than a month ago by at least two armed individuals who had similar clothing descriptions. Cash and cigarettes were stolen in that incident.
This is a developing story.
