FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is seeking information on a possible road rage shooting incident which occurred last week.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is seeking information on a possible road rage shooting incident which occurred last week.
The incident occurred on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at approximately 7 p.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80, according to the department in a statement.
Two vehicles, a black Ford pickup truck and a black and gray Jeep Wrangler, were seen racing down the highway, read the statement.
“The black Ford pick up exited prior to the Jeep which continued eastbound,” stated the department. “Right before exiting at CR 212/213, a round was fired from the Jeep striking another vehicle on the roadway heading in the same direction.”
The department is asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Forney Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at (972) 564-7607. Information can also be submitted anonymously to the Kaufman County Crime Stoppers at (877) 847-7522 and, if that information leads to an arrest, a reward may be granted to the caller.
