The Forney Police Department is joining more than 324 law enforcement agencies for the 2013 Great Texas Warrant Roundup. The Forney PD will be seeking and arresting any individuals with outstanding warrants with the Forney Municipal Court and possibly warrants with higher charges from participating jurisdictions.
The Forney Police Department is joining more than 324 law enforcement agencies for the 2013 Great Texas Warrant Roundup. The Forney PD will be seeking and arresting any individuals with outstanding warrants with the Forney Municipal Court and possibly warrants with higher charges from participating jurisdictions.
The roundup is expected to begin in early March but a date will not be released. The Forney Police Department says, “If you have an outstanding warrant you may be arrested in your home, place of business, or wherever you may be found. You must act immediately to avoid arrest on your outstanding warrant(s).”
Individuals with outstanding warrants are urged to contact the Forney Municipal Court immediately in person or by phone to pay your outstanding warrants. Defendants can also make payments online at www.cityofforney.org. As of February 15, the Kaufman Police Department has also signed up to participate in the roundup.
Payments can be made to the Forney Municipal Court in person with cash, money order, master card, or visa. If you are paying in person you will be required to provide a valid state issued ID, drivers license, or passport.
The Forney Municipal Court is located in the Forney Justice Center Court Building at 331 South FM 548 in Forney, Texas. The Court will also hold extended hours prior to the roundup to allow everyone a chance to pay their outstanding warrants.

Wednesday, February 27th 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 28th, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, March 1st, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 2nd 9:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Normal hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
