Chicken Express, Pizza Hut, and O'Reilly Auto Parts were the targets of the late night smash-and-grab style burglaries. Investigators believe this to be the work of an organized traveling gang based on preliminary evidence.
Last year, members of the “Felony Lane” gang, a gang known to operate mainly in Florida, were arrested in Forney after a string of car burglaries at area daycare centers.
Detective Clay with the Forney Police Department said they are working with other area agencies and could not release any further details. A press release is expected soon with more details on the crimes. Stay tuned to inForney.com for further details.
