FORNEY, Texas – The Forney Police Department is on the lookout for someone who stole a man's truck, enclosed trailer, two dragsters, and other miscellaneous racing equipment valued at over $54,000.

FORNEY, Texas – The Forney Police Department is on the lookout for someone who stole a man's truck, enclosed trailer, two dragsters, and other miscellaneous racing equipment valued at over $54,000.

According to an incident report filed with the Forney Police Department, the theft possibly occurred between 11:30 p.m. on Sunday night, May 4, 2014, and 8 a.m. Monday morning, May 5, 2014. The theft occurred in the 200 block of Aspenwood Trail in the Trails of Chestnut Meadow neighborhood.

The stolen truck is described as a grey Dodge Ram 1500 and the trailer is a white 24-foot enclosed trailer. Inside the truck and trailer were two dragsters – one orange and the other black –, miscellaneous race tools and equipment, a gas generator, and a Dell laptop.
