FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is seeking Dylan Kiare Hornsby on an arrest warrant for deadly conduct in connection with a shooting incident in the Park Trails neighborhood earlier this month, the department announced Wednesday.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is seeking Dylan Kiare Hornsby on an arrest warrant for deadly conduct in connection with a shooting incident in the Park Trails neighborhood earlier this month, the department announced Wednesday.
The department previously arrested Carissa Arreola of Mesquite, Texas, during the execution of an arrested warrant at a Balch Springs, Texas, residence. Arreola was also charged with deadly conduct, a third-degree felony.
On September 8, 2020, around 6:30 p.m., the Forney Police Department was dispatched to the Park Trails neighborhood on a report of shots fired. There, police discovered expended shell casings in the 100 block of Acadia Lane and bullet impacts on a tree and a residence.
No injuries were reported in the shooting.
"In partnership with nearby residents who provided a description of a vehicle leaving the scene as well as video footage, members of the Forney Police Department Criminal Investigations Division were able to identify a suspect," read a statement from the Forney Police Department following Arreola's arrest.
Subsequent investigation led to the identification of the second suspect which police identified on Wednesday as Hornsby.
"Hornsby’s location is currently unknown," stated the department. "If anyone has information regarding Hornsby’s whereabouts, please contact the Forney Police Department or call 911."
