On Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at around 6:00 p.m., Forney Police Officers responded to the 500 block of Southlake in reference to a domestic disturbance and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Prior to the Officers arrival, one of the residents at the location of the incident had been shot.
On Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at around 6:00 p.m., Forney Police Officers responded to the 500 block of Southlake in reference to a domestic disturbance and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Prior to the Officers arrival, one of the residents at the location of the incident had been shot.
Medical services arrived on scene and provided medical services to the alleged victim, Victor James Botello of Forney. Botello was transported to Baylor Hospital in Dallas due to his injuries. The alleged shooter, Jason Micheal Roberts, also of Forney, was taken to the Forney Police Department and was later charged with Aggravated Assault. The other residents at the scene were not hurt.
