High-speed chase of stolen vehicle ends in two arrests

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A high-speed chase of a stolen vehicle in Talty ended in Dallas with two arrests, according to police.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A high-speed chase of a stolen vehicle in Talty ended in Dallas with two arrests, according to police.

At approximately 10:59 p.m., a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding at approximately 90 miles an hour in a 70 mph zone near mile marker 493 on Interstate 20 in Kaufman County, Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Kyle Bradford told inForney.com.

The vehicle failed to yield to the officer and fled at high speeds into Dallas County.

The chase came to an end when the vehicle pulled into the parking lot of Fox Fuels at U.S. Highway 175, Buckner Boulevard, and Murdoch Road. Police conducted a felony traffic stop and arrested a male and female without further incident.

Bradford says the vehicle was reported stolen out of the Dallas Police Department.
