VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas — The Van Zandt County Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking information in a stolen vehicle fire which was recovered on Thursday.
VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas — The Van Zandt County Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking information in a stolen vehicle fire which was recovered on Thursday.
“The vehicle was found on fire on the back side Rolling Oaks on the public hunting land of the State of Texas,” according to the Van Zandt County Fire Marshal’s Office on Facebook.
The vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Hunt County, was stripped and set on fire. The fire resulted in approximately 10 acres of hunting land also being burned.
“Firefighters from Rolling Oaks and Wills Point Fire Departments contained the fire quickly,” stated the fire marshal’s office.
