Kaufman County deputies received a call for a security check in the Windmill Farms subdivision of Forney early Saturday morning, November 10, 2012, at approximately 9:21 a.m. A press release from the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office states "deputies arrived and noticed water coming out from the garage, front door, and all sides of the slab."

The deputies dispatched the Forney Fire Department fearing that the home owner may have been in some sort of danger and to provide medical assistance if needed. When the crews opened the back door the crews immediately noticed the marijuana plants and grow lights. The Kaufman County Sheriff's Narcotics investigators later received a search warrant and found over 200 marijuana plants that were each over 36 inches tall throughout the residence.

The deputies did not find anyone in the home at the time of the call. Neighbors said they don't believe anyone lives at the home.

This case is still under investigation, with more information being released at a later date.
