KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A second police pursuit in as many days originating in Kaufman County ended with a wreck and arrest in Hunt County near Lake Tawakoni.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A second police pursuit in as many days originating in Kaufman County ended with a wreck and arrest in Hunt County near Lake Tawakoni.

A deputy with the Kaufman County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office initiated the pursuit on Farm-to-Market (FM) 429 just after noon on Wednesday in the Able Springs area in northern Kaufman County.

The deputy reported speeds of approximately 100 miles per hour before the suspect wrecked at the intersection of FM 429 and FM 751 in Hunt County.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was taken into custody without further incident.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
