KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of McDonald’s truck stop early this morning.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of McDonald’s truck stop early this morning.

Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Investigator Jolie Stewart tells inForney.com two black males entered the truck stop around 4:30 a.m.

They were both wearing masks, displayed handguns, and demanded cash from the register. They took an unknown amount of cash and fled the store, which is located in the 11000 block of Eat Interstate 20 in eastern Kaufman County, on foot.

The sheriff’s office sought to identify and locate a woman who they believed to be a person of interest in the case. Stewart says she has since been identified.

One of the alleged suspects was wearing a gray hoodie over a black cap, black wind pants, and black shoes. The second suspect was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, blue shorts, a black cap with the word “future” in white lettering across the front, and white shoes with bright orange accents.
