FORNEY, Texas — The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Monday afternoon home invasion in the Windmill Farms neighborhood.
Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Captain Fred Klingelberger says officers were dispatched to a home in the 1100 block of Windsor Drive at 1:34 p.m. for a reported home invasion. Klingelberger says the homeowner’s front door was kicked in while she was in the shower.
Police are seeking two black males wearing black hoodies, sweat pants, and backpacks who were last seen walking south on Windsor Drive.
Its unknown if anything was taken during the robbery. The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
The Kaufman County Precinct 2 Constable's Office, Forney Police Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to the residence.
