KAUFMAN COUNTY — The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting which occurred early Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred around 4 a.m. in the 17000 block of State Highway 34 north of Terrell, Texas. A man was shot once in the arm, according to Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Captain Fred Klingelberger. The man refused transport to the hospital by EMS and the wound was described as minor.
Police have identified the man who shot the other man and Klingelberger says the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, a CareFlite ambulance, and the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
