SCURRY, Texas — A man has been hospitalized after being shot during a disturbance in Scurry, Texas, on Thursday night, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to inForney.com.
The disturbance was reported in the 9100 block of North Evans Street in Scurry, Texas. Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Captain Fred Klingelberger confirms one person had been shot and transported by a CareFlite medical helicopter to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
Klingelberger says the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident and no further information was available.
