FORNEY, Texas – The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Sunday morning armed home invasion robbery which occurred just south of the city limits of Forney.

FORNEY, Texas – The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Sunday morning armed home invasion robbery which occurred just south of the city limits of Forney.

Around 11:41 a.m., on Sunday, December 10, 2017, three blackk males pulled into the driveway of a residence in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market (FM) 740, according to Kaufman County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jolie Stewart.

The suspects, estimated to be in their early to mid-30s, drove a black four-door Lexus. Two of the suspects ran towards the open garage of the residence where the male homeowner was standing, one carrying a silver revolver and the other a dark-colored semi-automatic pistol, and struck the man on his head. They then blindfolded and bound him and an adult female. She was uninjured.

Both suspects who approached the man were reportedly wearing black-colored coats and a black hoodies concealing their faces, according to Stewart.

The suspects stole a 2005 Bently two-door CGT coupe with Texas license plate No. BSG8531 and a white 2002 Hyundai Sonata. The Hyundai has since been recovered, according to Stewart.

The third suspect wore a two-toned blue shirt and stood outside of the driver's door of the suspect vehicle for a short period of time. His photo was captured on home surveillance video and is pictured above.
