KAUFMAN, Texas — A 29-year-old Kaufman man was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Kaufman Police Department and the United States Secret Service, the department announced today.
KAUFMAN, Texas — A 29-year-old Kaufman man was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Kaufman Police Department and the United States Secret Service, the department announced today.
Shawn Russell Braden, 29, of Kaufman, Texas, was arrested March 2, 2015, and booked into the Kaufman County Jail charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony, on a $125,000 bond.
Braden’s alleged victim is under the age of six, according to Kaufman Police Department Captain Ed Black.
“At this time we do not have any reason to believe that there are other victims out there, however, if you have concerns regarding this individual please contact the Kaufman Police Department,” stated Black.
If convicted, Braden faces a minimum of 25 years in prison, according to Black.
