KAUFMAN, Texas – The Kaufman Police Department, in conjunction with Kaufman County Tactical Team, arrested a man after executing a search warrant at a Kaufman home last Saturday, September 20, 2014.
Authorities seized more than four grams of suspected methamphetamine, over an ounce of marijuana, suspected heroin and testosterone, a loaded handgun, and numerous scales, baggies, and other paraphernalia at the home in the 100 block of Cates Drive.
Police arrested 32-year-old Wesley Weaver and charged him with delivery of marijuana greater than one-quarter ounce and less than or equal to five pounds in a drug free zone, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram in a drug free zone, and possession of a controlled substance penalty group four less than 28 grams in a school zone.
Weaver is being held at the Kaufman County Jail on bonds of $50,000, $150,000, $50,000, and $5,000 for the charges, respectively.
