KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman Police Department, in conjunction with the Municipal Court of Kaufman, is working to clear a backlog of class C warrants, the department stated Monday.
KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman Police Department, in conjunction with the Municipal Court of Kaufman, is working to clear a backlog of class C warrants, the department stated Monday.
“KPD Officers will be actively serving these warrants in the weeks ahead and it is much easier, and cheaper, to take the necessary steps to arrange payment of your warrant before possibly being arrested, having you vehicle impounded, and going to jail,” stated the department.
If you think you may have a warrant for a traffic citation or other class C offense, contact the municipal court clerk at (972) 932-2216. If needed, you may be able to arrange a payment plan to clear the warrant, stated the department.
