KAUFMAN, Texas — The Kaufman Police Department is seeking information on an armed robbery of the AAA Food Mart last night.
The aggravated robbery occurred at approximately 11:43 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the AAA Food Mart located at 1502 South Washington Street, according to the Kaufman Police Department.
“An unknown Black Male, with his face covered, entered the store and pointed a gun at the clerk,” stated a press release from the Kaufman Police Department. “He then fired the weapon into the floor and demanded all of the cash from the register.”
Police described the suspect as approximately 6 feet tall with a slender/muscular build, wearing a green and white checkered shirt and faded blue jeans.
The suspect was last seen fleeing the store on foot towards Jackson Street which is behind the store.
